About Jane Moyer / Founder and Leader
Jane Moyer brings a blend of executive-level corporate management,
sales and marketing experience, as well as entrepreneurial spirit,
creativity and in-depth training in a broad range of leadership
and coaching skills to New Century Leadership.
Prior
to founding her own firm in 2004, Jane served as Senior Vice President
and General Manager for Home Box Office (HBO), where her responsibilities
encompassed sales, marketing, and affiliate operations. There she
led a team of 40 professionals and managed business that generated
more than $300 million in annual revenue. Highlights of her 25-year
corporate business career include the development and introduction
of new products and processes; negotiation of multi-million dollar
contracts; and collaboration with business partners to improve productivity
and cultivate new ideas.
She
received numerous awards for leadership and marketing creativity,
as well as for development and leadership of high-performing teams.
In addition to serving on several organization boards in her industry,
she was a fellow in Women in Cable and Telecommunications’
Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, a prestigious organization for
women executives in conjunction with the Center for Creative Leadership.
Coupled with Jane’s business experience is her passion for
the performing arts. She draws on her experience teaching, creating
and performing music to help leaders and managers develop their
own effective style and achieve excellence as individual performers
and ensemble members.
Jane earned both her Bachelors and Masters degrees at Michigan
State University. She is also a graduate of Coach U, the largest
and most recognized coach training school in the world, and a qualified
administrator of a broad range of leadership development assessments.
Jane loves to learn, read, travel, explore and sing. She lives
in the Chicago suburbs with her husband and son.
