Higher Level Thinking

Albert Einstein quote: The significant problems we face today can not be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.

As you take on significant problems, consider:

  • What’s different now?
  • What assumptions might be challenged?
  • How can we think of them from a higher level?

Thinking from a higher level might entail embracing a higher purpose, taking a bigger-picture view, entertaining additional perspectives, challenging assumptions, applying new resources, or exercising creativity.
